justice department rejects South Carolina voter id law...

The South Carolina law requiring voters to show an id, drivers license, passport or birth certificate has been rejected by the obama justice department. Imagine that. Who would have thunk it. The justice department actually doing something to prevent voter fraud? Never gonna happen. Not with this bunch of thugs and criminals.

Here is Missouri, when I vote, I am asked for my id. I'm more than happy to show it.

According to everything I have read, South Carolina is willing to provide people an id free of charge.

With the latest episodes of fraud in New York and Indiana, there is plenty of proof that election fraud is real and it is an important issue to get a handle on. Of course, the obama justice department isn't too concerned since it seems most of the cases lately have worked in their favor. Why would obama and holder want to cure the disease that helped get obama elected?

holder throws out the race card... again

holder's people can spin his comments any way they want to. What he said was pretty clear. He does have a point though, he and obama are both black. But you know, I think they are both arrogant, lying, scumbags and it doesn't have a damn thing to do with the color of their skin. There was a time when I would have voted for Colin Powell. And I was a big fan of Herman Cain. I didn't think he had the experience we need at the helm in the difficult times to come, but he would have been an excellent VP or cabinet member. I would also support Condi Rice for a VP spot.

The race card has been so used and abused by the likes of al sharpton, jesse jackson and all the other race baiting idiots that it has lost it's meaning. Calling someone a racist used to mean something. It used to be an insult that had some sting behind it. Anymore, not so much, because it is used for someones gain and not much more. holder is throwing that thought around to try and gain some sort of an edge.

Like I said the other day, holder shouldn't be asked to resign. He should be fired, tried, and locked up like any criminal should be. He is guilty of a long list of crimes against this Country.

Rep. Trey Gowdy knows that holder played a MUCH bigger role in fast and furious than he is willing to say on TV. It's also a little suspicious that the guy doing the investigation of fast and furious was appointed by holder. That's like the fox guarding the hen house. It's not going to work. And people wonder why the inspector is dragging his feet? Dude, I'm not a lawyer, I'm not even that fucking bright, but even I can see through the bullshit games these people are playing. holder and obama are hoping that either the election takes precedence over this or it blows over. Neither are going to happen.

eric holder and the Fantasy of "Accountable Government"

What I take away from this article is that democrats think what holder and the atf did with "fast and furious" is totally acceptable. There should be no consequences for their actions. It's perfectly ok for our government to break the law in all kinds of ways. And it's also ok to stonewall congress in an investigation.

shiela jackson lee, judy chu and hank johnson proved with their antics that they are unworthy of the offices they hold. They turned a legitimate hearing into a circus. Imagine that. What else would you expect from these idiots.

I saw a headline the other day that said " Should eric holder resign over "fast and furious"? No, he shouldn't, he should be fired, arrested and tried with accessory to murder at the very least. He should do hard time over his involvement in this and many other affronts to our Nation. He has been shredding the Constitution since his first day on the job.

If you are a liberal, and you see this in a different light, please, leave a comment...

by John Hayward - Human Events

Attorney General eric holder spent the day testifying before the House Oversight Committee on Thursday. It was a rowdy affair. Committee Democrats spent most of their time trying to derail the hearing or turn it into a circus, as when Representative judy chu (D-CA) congratulated holder, the man who quashed investigation into black panther voter intimidation, for his work on behalf of “voter’s rights.” Rep. hank johnson (D-GA) made a bizarre, but spirited, effort to work “white supremacists” into the discussion of Operation Fast and Furious, in which holder’s Justice Department pushed American guns across the border into the hands of Mexican drug cartels. Rep. sheila jackson-lee (D-TX) did a lot of shouting, but couldn’t quite remember the name of slain U.S. Border Patrol agent Brian Terry.

Very little of substance was learned – holder is still as inscrutable as the statues of Easter Island, and steadfastly maintained that “taking responsibility” does not involve anyone in his department losing their jobs – but there was some great theater. Meanwhile, the hundreds of victims killed by Fast and Furious guns remain dead, and the Brian Terry case remains under impenetrable government seal. holder was so evasive and uncooperative that Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-CA) described him as a “hostile witness.”

Perhaps the key exchange of the afternoon came when Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) tore into holder for the rather amazing lack of communication that ostensibly plagues the Obama Administration. Holder claims he doesn’t read his briefings, and therefore had no idea what the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms was up to while Operation Fast and Furious was in effect. Furthermore, Holder told Chaffetz that after becoming aware of the problem, he did not discuss the “gun walking” disaster with any of the following people: Homeland Security Secretary janet napolitano, Secretary of State hillary clinton, President barack obama, the president of Mexico, or the attorney general of Mexico.

“You have routinely argued that you have been oblivious and disengaged in this operation,” an exasperated Chaffetz told the Attorney General, “and I buy that to a large extent.” Nobody laughed. In an Aaron Sorkin TV show, there would have been laughter. Has a character as improbable as Eric Holder turned up in one of those shows yet?

“We have a dead border patrol agent,” Chaffetz continued. “We have 2,000 missing guns. We have 200 dead in Mexico. We have dead government officials in Mexico. We have a Mexican helicopter with troops in it shot – three of them are wounded – back in May of this year. We have fifty-plus members of Congress calling for your resignation over this. And you’ve never spoken to any one of these people about this operation?”

After some back-and-forth about how he spends his time, and the Talmudic interpretation of his department’s press releases, Holder finally told Chaffetz, “You don’t understand how Washington works.”

And there you have it, folks. This is all about the way “Washington works.”

Nobody talks to anybody. Nobody reads their email. No one admits to anything. All the records are redacted and sealed. And most significantly in light of Holder’s testimony today, even the most cosmic levels of failure don’t necessarily mean anyone loses their jobs. For that matter, Operation Fast and Furious was a vast expansion of an earlier program from the Bush era, Operation Wide Receiver, which featured far more serious attempts at tracking the “walked” guns – they were actually fitted with miniature radio transmitters, which the drug cartels figured out how to defeat.

And yet, these are the people who want to run our health care. These are the people who claim they can protect us from the rapacious appetites of capitalism. Even as Holder was testifying, elsewhere on Capitol Hill, the former Democrat senator and governor of New Jersey, Jon Corzine, was taking the Fifth when asked why he blatantly violated financial regulations he helped to write.

Every politician swears his tireless devotion to “accountability.” All of them promise to cut “waste, fraud, and abuse.” But accountability simply does not, and never will, mean the same thing to politicians that it does to the rest of us. Government holds private citizens and organizations strictly accountable for misdeeds, from outright fraud to improperly filed paperwork, but the government will never hold itself accountable with the same intensity. That’s not a matter of partisan politics. It’s built right into the concept of Big Government, almost by definition. Who watches the watchmen?

Leaving aside the body count of Operation Fast and Furious, a private organization running huge programs with comparable degrees of failure would face the music from its customers and shareholders if the government didn’t get them first…first… and woe to any CEO who tried Eric Holder’s lame excuses on federal investigators.

Politicians repeatedly sell us the chimerical promise of a government that can be held “accountable” in a way that is even remotely comparable to the way citizens are held responsible. When oversight hearings degenerate into a circus, Big Government and its media worshippers grin and tell us we can always hold congressional clowns accountable at the ballot box… in a couple of years. Assuming they don’t come from safe seats, and local voters aren’t so gorged on pork-barrel spending that they don’t much care about the stupid things said in Capitol Hill hearing rooms.

It’s not good enough. It will never be good enough. The political class promises us that it can be entrusted with control of our lives, and claim they’re a far safer bet than “taking our chances” with the private sector. Well, on Thursday that political class made an abject mockery of oversight while protecting their hides from an outrage that killed hundreds of people. The very same munchkins were quite eager to use the very same outrage to promote gun laws that would give them even more control over our lives. Run afoul of those laws, and you will not be allowed to defend yourself by telling Washington that it doesn’t understand how your town works.

Internal DOJ Email: Kagan Was Brought Into Loop on Mark Levin’s Obamacare Complaint

elena kagan is one more crooked, scumbag thug in obama's inner circle. She is a liar. To claim that she had no knowledge or input into the unConstitutional obamacare law is an insult to anyone with half a brain.

Even reading about all the crooked tactics the democrats tried to perpetrate on the American people turns my stomach. To develop a "new rule" to avoid actually having to vote on the legislation should tell you how little even the democrats thought of it. None, or very few, of them wanted anyone to be able to hold them accountable for this piece of shit. And it passed anyway. Of course, it took true Chicago style thug, strongarm tactics, including bribery, and out right threats to make it happen.

You can bet that kagan will refuse to recuse herself from the upcoming legal battle. She and eric holder will figure out some way, some obscure rule, to keep on her on the bench. It's wrong. Our entire government is wrong. This is not what our Founding Fathers envisioned. Their dream has been perverted and twisted into an unrecognizable monster that steals our Rights and our souls...

By Terence P. Jeffrey - CNSNews

Internal Justice Department email communications made just days before the House of Representatives passed the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act show that then-Solicitor General Elena Kagan was brought into the loop as DOJ began preparing to respond to an anticipated legal complaint that Mark Levin and the Landmark Legal Foundation were planning to file against the act if the House used a procedural rule to “deem” the bill passed even if members never directly voted on it.

In another internal DOJ email communication that same week, Kagan alerted the chief of DOJ’s Office of Legal Counsel to the constitutional argument that a former U.S. Appeals Court judge was making against the use of this rule.

Then, during Kagan’s Supreme Court confirmation process four months later, Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee asked her in writing if she had “ever been asked about your opinion” or “offered any view or comments” on the “the underlying legal or constitutional issues related to any proposed health care legislation, including but not limited to Pub. L. No. 111-148 [PPACA], or the underlying legal or constitutional issues related to potential litigation resulting from such legislation?"

Kagan answered both questions: “No.”

The DOJ emails from the week before the health-care bill passed--which were released as the result of a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit filed by the Media Research Center (CNSNews.com’s parent organization) and Judicial Watch--raise additional questions about whether Kagan should recuse herself from judging the case against PPACA when the court considers it early next year.

A federal law—28 U.S.C 455—says that a Supreme Court justice must recuse from “any proceeding in which his impartiality might reasonably be questioned” or if he “expressed an opinion concerning the merits of the particular case in controversy” while he “served in governmental employment.”

In the days leading up to the March 21, 2010 House vote on the health-care bill, one underlying constitutional issue that became part of the national debate was whether the House could approve the Senate version of the bill without ever directly voting on it by using a procedural rule crafted by then-House Rules Chairman Louise Slaughter (D.-N.Y.)

On March 10, 2010, National Journal’s Congress Daily published a brief story under the headline, “Slaughter Preps Rule to Avoid Direct Vote on Senate Bill.”

The next morning, Washington Examiner Editorial Page Editor Mark Tapscott posted a blog entry citing the Congress Daily report. “In the Slaughter Solution,” Tapscott wrote, “the rule would declare that the House ‘deems’ the Senate version of Obamacare to have passed the House. House members would still have to vote on whether to accept the rule, but they would then be able to say they only voted for the rule, not the bill itself.”

That night on his nationally syndicated radio show, Landmark Legal Foundation President Mark Levin, who served as chief of staff to Attorney General Ed Meese in the Reagan Justice Department, gave a seven-minute presentation on the Slaughter rule. Levin explained why, in his view, use of the rule would violate Article 1, Section 7, Clause 2 of the Constitution which requires both houses of Congress to vote on a bill before it can be presented to the president for his signature.

Levin concluded his discussion by vowing to file a lawsuit against the health-care bill if House Democrats used the Slaughter rule to send it to the president without a direct vote.

“I can tell you, if they pursue this process and try to impose this kind of a law without actually passing a statute, that I will be in a race with scores of others to the courthouse to stop this,” said Levin. “I can’t think of a more blatant violation of the United States Constitution than this.”

janet napolitano is a dumbass...

janet napolitano, during an interview, joked about being called "big sis". Maybe someone should tell her that it isn't a term of endearment. It's not like she has been given a nickname because people respect or even like her, actually it's quite the opposite. People despise her and the government agency she heads up. The department of homeland security and the tsa continue to intrude into our lives more and more everyday.

napolitano and her particular gang of thugs have been proven to be liars over and over again. Lying about the extent to which they invade our privacy, lying about the health affects of the various machines they use to scan as as we go about our travel, on and on.

Does she think we look on her fondly? Like we would a MUCH older, slighty crazed sister? Or an old aunt that is a couple of sandwiches short of a picnic? Not so much. Instead, many of us view her with the same contempt as we do eric holder or obama, maybe even more so...

Do you know that eric holder thinks you are stupid?

Well he does. If he expects us to believe that no one at the justice department lied about the "operation fast and furious". That's his latest claim. He says that lying is a "state of mind". WTF does that mean? If you give false information to cover your own ass, where I come from, that is lying. holder is a lying liar.

If you want to read more about it, check it out here.

There were also some emails that came to light recently that prove that the atf wanted to use "fast and furious" to impose more gun laws on law abiding citizens of this Country. Hmm, if I'm not mistaken, that's what I have been saying for months. There is no other explanation for it. And if these assclowns hadn't been busted, that is exactly what would have happened. Once again, the atf thought we, the American people were too stupid to catch on to their illegal activity. We are lucky that there are people in this Country that keep a close eye on these agencies and that there are still people in those agencies with the guts to come forward.

I am at the end of what I can stand from this criminal admisitration and their offenses against our Nation...

U.S. Seals Court Records Of Border Patrol’s Murder

They probably have all these documents stashed in the same place as obama's college records. If you didn't see this coming, hit yourself in the head with a tack hammer. Every day the people investigating this mess get closer to the truth, and to the fact that obama and holder knew what was going on. And maybe even closer to finding out that obama and holder had something to do with putting this whole thing together. What other documents will they hide in the future? You can bet there will be more. I wouldn't be surprised if witnesses started to turn up dead or missing...

Judicial Watch

The Obama Administration has abruptly sealed court records containing alarming details of how Mexican drug smugglers murdered a U.S. Border patrol agent with a gun connected to a failed federal experiment that allowed firearms to be smuggled into Mexico.

This means information will now be kept from the public as well as the media. Could this be a cover-up on the part of the “most transparent” administration in history? After all, the rifle used to kill the federal agent (Brian Terry) last December in Arizona’s Peck Canyon was part of the now infamous Operation Fast and Furious. Conducted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the disastrous scheme allowed guns to be smuggled into Mexico so they could eventually be traced to drug cartels.

Instead, federal law enforcement officers lost track of more than 1,000 guns which have been used in numerous crimes. In Terry’s case, five illegal immigrants armed with at least two semi-automatic assault rifles were hunting for U.S. Border Patrol agents near a desert watering hole just north of the Arizona-Mexico border when a firefight erupted and Terry got hit.

We know this only because Washington D.C.’s conservative newspaper got ahold of the court documents before the government suddenly made them off limits. The now-sealed federal grand jury indictment tells the frightening story of how Terry was gunned down by Mexican drug smugglers patrolling the rugged desert with the intent to “intentionally and forcibly assault” Border Patrol agents.

You can see why the administration wants to keep this information from the public and the media, considering the smugglers were essentially armed by the U.S. government. Truth is, no one will know the reason for the confiscation of public court records in this case because the judge’s decision to seal it was also sealed, according to the news story. That means the public or media won’t have access to any new or old evidence, filings, rulings or arguments.

A number of high-ranking Border Patrol officials are questioning how the case is being handled. For instance, they wonder why the defendant (Manuel Osorio-Arellanes) hasn’t been tried even though it’s been almost a year since Terry’s murder. They also have concerns about the lack of transparency in the investigation, not to mention the recent sealing of the court case.

Osorio-Arellanes is charged with second-degree murder. The four other drug smugglers fled the scene and their names were blacked out in the indictment. In 2006 Osorio-Arellanes had been convicted in Phoenix of felony aggravated assault and in 2010 he was twice detained for being in the U.S. illegally.
During a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing this month to address the flawed gun-tracking program, Attorney General Eric Holder said it’s not fair to assume that mistakes in Operation Fast and Furious led to Terry’s death. Holder also expressed regret to the federal agent’s family, saying that he can only imagine their pain.

eric holder is a liar, a scumbag and just an asshole in general

It looks like holder wrote a "private" letter to the family of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry. It also looks like he leaked it to some media outlets before he sent it. So much for private. Parts of the letter were published before Brian Terry's Mother was able to read it.

holder has had lots of opportunities to speak to the family to offer condolences. janet napolitano went to the funeral. Even that scumbag obama made a phone call and wrote a letter.

After the public beat down that holder took after his testimony to congress, he decided to write the letter.

What a prick. This guy needs to go even more than obama...

eric holder is a liar and a scumbag...

You have probably heard all about eric holder's grilling on Capital Hill yesterday.

holder and obama are two peas in one rotten pod. Neither of these arrogant pricks will ever accept any amount of blame for their actions. Through the entire process yesterday, holder refused any responsibility for fast and furious.

He even went so far as to say that it is unfair to blame fast and furious for the death of Agent Brian Terry. Don't forget that it was a gun allowed to walk across the border that killed Agent Terry. And also keep in mind that it wasn't the only gun at the scene that had been ALLOWED TO CROSS THE BORDER BY THE ATF AND THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE.

eric holder admitted that he has never called the family of Brian Terry to apologize or even offer condolences. What a scumbag. holder belongs behind bars. Every single day he is allowed to walk free upon this earth he further damages our Country and threatens our National security.

One last thing, don't forget chuck schumer trying to blame the Bush Administration and cover for holder and the atf. It will never stop amazing me that democrats absolutely refuse to back away from the line even when crimes up to and including murder have been committed. This should show the Country a thing or two about where their loyalties lie, and it certainly isn't with this Nation or it's citizens...
