Defense department agrees to allow Muslim cadets to wear hijabs

Wow. This is just stupid. So much for everyone being "uniform". Let's just allow the muslims to single themselves out from the rest.

cair is an organization with terrorist ties, how are they able to affect policy decisions in this Country time after time? And why do we continue to kiss muslim ass at every opportunity? Oh, that's right, because obama is a muslim sympathizer and probably a muslim himself.

You know, seriously, I have no problem with muslims that want to serve in the military, but a couple of things need to happen. First, they need to conform to the same rules AS EVERYONE ELSE. It's not rocket science. When they request to be singled out for special treatment they alienate themselves from the people who are supposed to be their teammates. And second, these people need to be vetted and then closely watched. Look at the guy responsible for the Ft. Hood shootings. There were plenty of signs that this guy was headed off the deep end. But because of political correctness and just a lack of give a shit, the military allowed him to become radicalized and we all know where that lead.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) announced today that the Department of Defense will begin allowing Muslim and Sikh students who wear an Islamic head scarf (hijab) or a turban to participate in the Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC).

“We welcome the fact that Muslim and Sikh students nationwide will now be able to participate fully in JROTC leadership activities while maintaining their religious beliefs and practices,” said CAIR National Executive Director Nihad Awad.

In October, the Washington-based Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization wrote to Defense Secretary Leon Panetta after a 14-year-old Muslim student at Ravenwood High School in Brentwood, Tenn., was forced to transfer out of a JROTC class when her commanding officers told her she could not wear hijab while marching in the September homecoming parade.

CAIR requested constitutionally-protected religious accommodations for the girl and for future Muslim JROTC participants.

In a Dec. 19 letter sent to CAIR, Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army Larry Stubblefield wrote:

”I have been asked to respond on behalf of the Secretary of Defense Leon E. Panetta to your October 13, 2011 letter concerning Miss Demin Zawity’s request to wear a religious head covering (hijab) while participating in an Army Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) event at Ravenwood High School.

“Based on your concerns, the Army has reviewed its JROTC uniform policy and will develop appropriate procedures to provide Cadets the opportunity to request the wear of religious head dress, such as the turban and hijab. This change will allow Miss Zawity and other students the chance to fully participate in the JROTC program. Additionally, a representative from the U.S. Army Cadet Command will contact Miss Zawity and provide her the opportunity to rejoin the Ravenwood High School JROTC unit.

“The Army prides itself in being a diverse organization, comprised of individuals from many faiths and religions. We appreciate you bringing this matter to our attention.”

"workplace violence"? The Fort Hood shootings...

obama and his gang of idiots are calling the Fort Hood shootings "workplace violence". Yep, it sure was, but it was committed by a scumbag muslim terrorist. Calling this anything other than a terror attack against our military is bullshit. And it seems there is plenty of bullshit to go around in this administration.

Even susan collins is calling them on this fiasco.

An investigation as shown that the muslim scumbag, nidal hasan, had contact with several radical muslims in the years, months and even weeks before he committed this act of terrorism against our Men and Women in uniform.

Do you think if any member of the obama administration had been present during this attack they would be calling it "workplace violence". Hell no they wouldn't! In that moment in time, bullets flying and some assclown screaming out "allahu akbar", they would have known the meaning of terror. And if they had been one of those hit by a round from this terrorist, would they call the attack what it was, terror?

It's kind of amazing how being safe and secure inside the white house can skew your views of the real world...

The Air Force Academy has built an $80,000, Stone Henge like worship center to embrace all religions, including wiccans, pagans and witches. Another fine example of our tax dollars being used to drive a stake into the heart of our Country.

This story comes just a few days after a story about the Army removing a cross from the front of a chapel because it offended some people. They didn't say who or how many were offended, of course.

So, basically, the United States military wants to embrace all religions except the Christian religion. And it isn't just the military. There are plenty of examples of Christians being discriminated against every day. But that's ok, as long as the witches and muslims are good, that's what counts.

Muslims outraged over pig parts dumped at Swiss mosque site

Whoever did this should be given a medal and letter of commendation.

Muslims in Switzerland are responding with shock and outrage after a pig carcass and severed swine heads were discovered buried at the site of a proposed mosque.

Police in the town of Grenchen uncovered the pigs Friday after they received an anonymous message claiming that someone had buried the body parts and spilled 120 liters of blood from the animals in an effort to desecrate the ground to halt the construction of the mosque.

Pork and pork byproducts are haram, or forbidden, in Islam.

The unsigned flier, written in German, says "This operation was done (conducted) to protest against the growing expansion of Islam in Switzerland," and says that a similar desecration in Spain earlier halted another mosque construction project.

Thomas Suber, chief of the Solothurn Canton police, told CNN by phone that there were no suspects currently, but that a full investigation is under way.

"We can't say yet it is a hate crime in those words, but it could have been done to stop the mosque," said Suber.

Suber said that whoever is responsible may be brought up on environmental pollution charges.

The police chief says that veterinary health officials have been called in to find if pig's blood has in fact been spilled, and that charges may be filed over illegal dumping of animal parts in addition to other potential criminal charges.

But for Muslims in Switzerland, it's just the latest sign that they are being victimized by some in the far right.

Abdel Azziz Qaasim Illi, spokesman for Switzerland's Central Islamic Council said the deed "crossed a line" that had already been pushed against Muslims since a popular referendum in 2009 banned the construction of new minarets.

"Since the ban on minarets there's been an increase in Islamophobia and Islamophobic events, so it was not really surprising" said Illi. "But it is an escalation in Switzerland because this is a peaceful country where Christians and Muslims have all been living together... and we are a bit afraid this may increase."
